What's a good song?
A good song is one that has great lyrics,with a good rhythm and tune. More importantly, different people have different good songs - but the songs that they consider 'good' probably makes their hair stand and their goosebumps to appear each time they listen to it. At least, that's for me.
It doesn't neccessarily have to be sung by someone with a great voice (it helps though, it helps) but the good song will definitely be good forever.
And of course, good songs are hard to come by, and are sometimes never on the top ten chart lists.

Anyway, it's almost the end of the year & then it'll be almost the end of jan. People have asked me if i've started packing & all i can say is, "i haven't got my luggage yet."

And i'm gna start buying books again, no matter how much my mum's gna complain! And of course, i'll invest in my own set of Grey's Anatomy Cds & a few good movies at the same time.

Thurs - Work AGAIN. How lame can my life get anyway?

Listen you ugly little troll, I've been helping you out every year, playing at being the perfect Christmas Present, wearing skimpy bathing suits in frigid weather, and drowning in fake tea from one too many tea parties, and I hate to break it to you Santa, but IT'S DEFINITELY PAYBACK TIME! There had better be some changes around here this Christmas, or I'm gonna call for a nationwide meltdown (and trust me, you won't wanna be around to smell it). So, here's my holiday wish list for 2007:

Santa:

1. A nice, comfy pair of sweat pants and a frumpy, oversized sweatshirt. I'm sick of looking like a hooker.
How much smaller are these bathing suits gonna get?
Do you have any idea what it feels like to have nylon and velcro crawling up your butt?

2. A REAL man...maybe Justin Timberlake. Like omg, I'd rather take Tickle-Me Elmo over that wimped-out excuse for a boytoy Ken. And what's with that earring anyway? If I'm gonna have to suffer with him, at least make him (and me) anatomically correct.

4. Arms that actually bend so I can push the aforementioned Ken-wimp away once he is anatomically correct.

5. Breast reduction surgery. I don't care whose arm you have to twist, get it done.

6. A jogbra. To wear until I get the surgery.

7. A new career. Pet doctor and school teacher just don't cut it. How about a systems analyst? Or better yet, a public relations senior account exec!

8. A new, more 21st century persona. Maybe "PMS Barbie", complete with a miniature container of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and a bag of chips; "Animal Rights Barbie", with my very own paint gun, outfitted with a fake fur coat, bottle of spray on blood and handcuffs; or "Stop Smoking Barbie," sporting a removable Nicotrol patch and equipped with several packs of gum.

Ok, Santa, that's it. Considering my valuable contribution to society, I don't think these requests are out of line.
If you disagree, then you can find yourself a new bitch for next Christmas.

I understand that one of my colleagues has petitioned you for changes in her contract, specifically asking for anatomical and career changes. In addition, it is my understanding that disparaging remarks were made about me, my ability to please, and some of my fashion choices.
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of some issues concerning Ms. Barbie, and some of my own needs and desires.

First of all, I along with several other colleagues feel Barbie DOES NOT deserve preferential
treatment - the bitch has everything. Along with Joe, Jem & Andy, I DO NOT have
a dream house, corvette, evening gowns, and in some cases the ability to change our hair style. I personally have only 3 outfits which I am forced to mix and match at great length.
My decision to accessorize my outfits with an earring was my decision and reflects my lifestyle choice.

I too would like a change in my career. Have you ever considered "Decorator Ken", "Beauty Salon Ken", or "Out Of Work Actor Ken"? In addition, there are several other avenues which could be considered such as "Samuel&Ken" , "GiodarKen", "Circuit Ken", "Bear Ken", "Master Ken".

These would more accurately reflect my desires and perhaps open up new markets. And as for Barbie needing bendable arms so she can "push me away," I need bendable knees so I can kick the bitch to the curb.

In closing, I would like to point out that any further concessions to the blond bimbo from hell will result in action be taken by myself and others. And Barbie can forget about having Joe - he's mine, at least that's what he said last night.

Monday
Last day at SAS! Goodness it was really really really busy. We couldn't rest or eat or take toilet breaks. Rushed home, changed and had dinner with my dad (WHO IS SICK SEE I'MM NOT WEAK OKAY) and then went to school. Was supposed to have night walk at LOWER PIERCE RESERVOIR BUT THEN! Rained and rained and rained and then the committee cancelled the walk and changed it to school instead. Well, while the campers were doing who knows what, All the graduates played Laser Tag! Around school! SO FUN :D :D :D
What's more, most of the lights were off and the girls &azizi were in one team, while the rest of the guys were in the other team. It was the girls first time to play SO OF COURSE WE LOST LAH. HAHA but i got ranked FOURTH which is something okay!

Oh, and kenneth: LIVERPOOL LOST! HAHAHA

And what's up with people nowadays? Is it just singaporeans or is the whole world learning to act extremely dumb? fyi, NOT COOL! Why would ANYONE in the right state of mind want to act like he/she doesn't have a brain just so he/she can get someone to notice him/her? Don't you people get it? When you act dumb, people actually THINK you're dumb. If you're apparently TOO dumb to figure that out, I'M TELLING YOU NOW (morons)

Plus, i'm only watching the first season of Grey's Anatomy. Like, finished the first 5 episodes only lah. I know i'm lagging, but just Five episodes gives me a sense of accomplishment. I'm sure if i were a Sim and i get to do everything on The list, i'd be GREEN. And if you don't play The Sims or you haven't touched it before or you've never even heard it before, then yeah, welcome to loserville. (I'm only your guide; i'm too smart to belong there. What does smart mean? Oh well you really don't have to know)

Anyway, i'm catching the manutd vs liverpool match now. Not such a huge fan of soccer nowadays but HOW COULD I MISS THIS! I mean, i don't even recognise half of the people playing but still. Manu is Manu and Manchester United is so gna beat Liverpool's ass

Oh, how i enjoy watching people like my dad and the kenneths and a whole load of liverpool supporters suffer! MUAHAHAHA I bet their smarting now because tevez scored at 43 minutes and Liverpool so has to watch their hide.

Okay so the night before i was watching survivor and pride &prejudice &by the time i slept it was around 1.30? 2+?
Yeah i woke up at 4 and started throwing up! It was gross i tell you. Apparently, it's food poisoning (i went to the doctor) and yeah, i threw up like, Seven bloody times just in the morning.

I'm feeling slightly better today, although i have a really bad headache. Fever's gone but so is my appetite.

Which is why i'm not in church. I feel guilty because i CAN go lah, just couldn't wake up =/

Back to SAS. The full time staff there are really...well, funny, if that's the simplest word to use on them.
After work though, i cabbed to Causeway to meet terence and varian. Bought earrings(: and caught Hitman. Terence was SUPPOSED to treat but then pay by nets cheaper so i paid, and he paid me back 12bucks, Which means that i still paid for myself anyway HAHA
Actually, it's all varian's fault. YOU LOUSY FREELOADER!

Hitman is such a crazily lousy show! I'm sick and tired of movies that have no start and no end, and i'm sure if not for my really smart brains, i wouldn't be able to figure the plot HAHA but yeah, if you're even contemplating because you like the action (which isn't even THAT good) and free show of boobs, i'm telling you, DO NOT WATCH IT!

But oh of course - The lead is really hot. Not exactly incredibly hot, but he's like michael scofield (note how i didn't say Wentworth Miller) - the intensity and the focused look. What's not to like, right?
I must add, Timothy Olyphant looks hot when he isn't bald too(:

Our booth was moved to the centre because the teachers/parents were busy making popcorn for their students!
SO NICE RIGHT. Apparently the students' exams start the next day (today) and they were making popcorn and giving them away for FREE to the students!
Why don't singaporean teachers do that HUH HUH HUH! I'm sure a little popcorn once a year will make the students like the school even more. And you guys complain about why we're so selfish! Sheesh HAHA
Anyway i went home really early and even got to catch friends :D
Went for dinner with family and then to rosamund's house for awhile &back home.

Thursday (today)

It was okay and i finally had a change in food taste for once. Had naan (To all gundus out there - it's a type of indian food) Bloody hell its so expensive! It's like, 4.80? And when subway had their promotion, they sold a sandwich, a drink &TWO COOKIES for 4.90! What a rip off right! HAHA but it's not bad lah.

Anyway, i'm like, super into subway cookies these days. No doubt it's expensive, but it's definitely comparable to Famousy Amosy. If you haven't tried it yet, it's Incredibly good!

Went to visit my grandmum &had dinner with my aunts, mum &nephew. Realised that all young children act the same way. They, at a young age, learn what 'Face' means and they don't wna throw it to the ground and jump on it. Nope, like everyone else, 'throwing face' will Kill them. Defeats them, kills them.

This is what i realised: For example, you're eating a packet of oreos. Your young nephew/neice/cousin/sister/brother/whatever comes up to you and goes,
" I LIKE OREOS "
You look at them, offer them one and then they SHYLY, i repeat, SHYLY (with a rather cute but *ahem* 'disgusting') smile, takes one frm you.

They don't ASK you for it! Instead, they use a more..more subtle method and appears to be voicing out their comments. Of course you have to offer them an oreo! Like, where did they acquire that skill from anyway?
However, it happens all the time!

And i also realised the power of influence. My 9 year old cousin have mastered the art of SARCASM since who knows when. And be it a year ago, or a month ago, she is Really REALLY good at it! I don't even know when the sarcasm thing started but it was obviously mastered because every sentence she says knocks me out of the ring. It's really amusing actually.


You know, i actually do miss school. I miss the crazy mugging for exams and textbooks. It's really ironic but after working for roughly 2 weeks++, i realised that i Do enjoy studying more than working.

Oh and my brother POP-ed already. I woke up this morning hearing sounds, like soccer nonsense coming frm the tv. I realised it was my brother, and i woke up at 6.30. Seriously! He's so used to army life he has to wake up and play the computer? (that's what he was doing anyway)

Plus, it's 2 weeks left to christmas and i haven't gotten Anything yet. Not yet in the panicky mode but this year, i shall make cards(:

And the weather's really cold these few days. It's a december thing apparently. But today's weather was good; all sunny and cheery but it wasn't like extreme, it wasn't like, June y'know.

These days i've got nothing better to do but Work.
Sorry to the clique because i stay so damn bloody far and work is totally draining - which is why i don't have much time to hang with.
Well, i may meet terence and a few others for movie tmr so yeah. I wna catch I AM LEGEND. Saw the thriller and it looks really good!

It's been raining, but that's not entirely unusual. My piano's getting really dusty at the moment because of the lack of usage. Furthermore i miss jamming sessions &shopping and basically bumming around at kovan macs. Walking away frm secondary school probably also means walking away frm your new life.
Well i can't WAIT for Christmas (Haven't done any christmas shopping yet) and of course, NEW YEAR! Can't wait for january to come because january itself means :

1. I don't have to work
2. I will be busy because i'm gna leave soon


Haven't been giving the leaving part much thought, which is really not all that good. I now have to Re-mentally-prepare myself because all the weeks of mugging for Os and then slogging out at work has left me very much sleep-deprived.

Church was okay. Ended pretty early. Had rushed lunch at potong before going to parkway with family(:
Didn't get nothing much but my dad &bro got their stuff.
Went home, changed etc and left the house.
Gala dinner at Suntec Convention Centre. It was alright. Sat with the sec 4 girls, J2 girls and lydia :D Nice people.
Anyway saw people that i've not seen in a really long time! Like, Dew(: She still recognises me HAHA and she's so tall and pretty now. And dale looks a little like kenneth teo. And there's this 'Aunty Peggy' who apparently taught me when i was 2 years old. What, i don't remember Anything okay.

The cool thing was they hooked up to the net and skyped with a whole bunch of people! - Pastor Ernest Glass &wife, jon ng!, GERMS GERMS GERMS (HAHA), Alison, Wesley and joyce, Uncle Roger, Aunty Siong Mei, Maegan, Shaina and TIMOTHY! HAHA So nice to see them; frm US, Perth, Sydney, Europe &canada respectively.

We practically camwhored the whole way la. Abit typical. And the Youths were all dressed very nicely(: - Pretty dresses and suits for everyone. You'll never see them dress up this much normally.

YESTERDAY (sat)
I woke up early (As usual. So irritating GRRRR whatever happened to my holidays!) and met up karina at city hall mrt. Had lunch at marina, met pao, farhan, rufus and dinesh &walked to DXO. Saw a whole load of yuying-ians (: - NAT, SHIMA, The band of course etc.

Anyway, LoveCodeDiary wasn't all that bad. Can't compare actually because i didn't stay to watch the rest of the bands play. But their original song, Earthquake, was really good(:

I mean, it's not as if we don't talk to each other, but we need to work on stuff lol

Had pizza and really great beehoon for dinner! Dunked javis into the pool because he's our camp commandant HAHA and like, Note to everyone: Do not dunk smeone in the pool with his spects on. Because if that happens, sme stranger will have to do it for you. And that's what the stranger did hahaha

And i know that it's so cliche, to tell you that everyday -

Two days working at SAS and i'm compelled to smile and say HI! to every person that walks by me.

SAS's really cool! It's like ten times the size of my school (okay la obviously) - They house SATAC, preschool &kindergarden, Intermediate school, middle school &high school. So it's pretty much everyone frm ages 3 - 20.
They have like, subway in their school and who knows how many cafeterias; A rugby field with a proper track. Tennis courts, and so far i've only seen their SS rooms. They have at least SIX SS rooms in the high school.
Plus, they have their own uniformed guard standing at the front of the school, holding a rifle.
Not that i'm surprised.


Business has been good. Today was realllyyyyy busy!
Oh and i went to help out with night games (p6 overnighter) ytd. It was, well, MESSY. And really smelly haha but very fun(:

Here we go again

Just watched Independence Day for like the 483u328915th time. It's such an awesome sci-fi flick! (yes, abit thick coming frm me)

So GB early in the morning today. Got to catch up with the GB clan and had lots of fun playing games and all. Haha i feel abit too overaged for all these though.

Anyway i trained down to expo to meet my parents with woof &pts who are currently working at the IT fair. Decided not to buy the laptop there because it's not worth it at all!
AND THEN i went to the john little mega sale thingum. I tell you, i spent like near 200$
MADNESS or what huh! Got a bag, marie claire shoes that they reduced frm 80 - 40$, a top frm esprit (half price too) and a belt. And my mum bought another belt thingy too. Errrmmm oh and bed linen stuff for sydney all.

So yea, i spent a bomb today, but thank God for vouchers.

Had dinner at the 'famous chicken rice stall' at changi. And then back home.

Oh GB today was at sme primary school (zhangde or smethg lah) and they had this wall thing with nursery rhymes (WHHATTTT HAHAHA)

Speaking of violent kids, i swear singaporean kids are behaving like sme blood-thirsty creatures! Just the other day (at white sands i think) i overheard this erm, 5- 6(7 tops) boy telling the whole world about sme bloody event that actually happened to him or something. He was like frantically telling his mum smethg that goes like this - "....WAH ALOT OF BLOOD LEH! SO NICE!..."

Guess what i did. I obviously turned and looked. And then my eyes literally widened. His mum was just nodding her head absent-mindedly and shuffling him along.

First, the singlish. Why can't singaporeans not revert to stereotypes and speak good english! Why does I have to be IIE and you have to be EUU. Same what, 3 letters right.
I admit, i do use the short form thing but it's not exactly healthy for well, pretty much everything else.

Secondly, What's with boys' fetish for blood! (And cars)(And gaming)(And soccer for that matter haha) I mean, i look at all those war games people are playing these days. Take my brother for example. He plays dota like sme retarded kid who can only scream "run here!" or "run there!" or "ZHAO AR!"

So hello the people who rule this country. Do smethg about the english and at the same time, try to get parents to not let their kids be so violent. We don't want Singapore producing sme fascist or the next Hitler or smethg. Imagine one among us rising up and ordering all the singlish-speaking people who have black hair and black eyes and are short killed because He/she is exactly like that (if you get what i mean)

Yet another exhausting day. I'm getting QUITE used to this lifestyle i guess - the waking up early and working for the next 9 hours, and then the 1 hour long trip home.

And then i have to go to woodlands for the next 2 weeks =/
I know i know it sounds bad because of the distance but i'm actually looking forward to it.

Anyway my boss is a very funny person. Her name is janice and she's young. PLUS she's totally like audrey! The similarities between them is rather shocking.

So like, Janice asked me to be at woodlands mrt at 8am on monday, and meet this other temp staff...(wait it gets better) that she has never met before! And that means i have no idea who in the world is he, and how he looks like. And she wants me to meet him and then we'll cab down to the american school thingum -.-

Who knew that sitting in front of the computer the whole day can be so tiring?
Well, that's what i did today and its POSITIVELY EXHAUSTING i tell you!

Just admin stuff - data entry, cleaning up the system all.
Working is just so addictive i didn't get up to pee and went for late lunch HAHA Oh and i almost missed the bus!

Yea well i realised that i have to travel to woodlands like, frm next week onwards (i think) because UPS is having some promotion thingamajic at the american school or some sort.
Looking forward to working there and meeting new new people!
NOT looking forward to the early hours and all (must be there at 8.30am! I LIVE IN BEDOK BTW!)

Haven't made much friends yet because i'm very caught of with working (i told youuuuu)
Working can also lead to gastrics and headache which is what i'm feeling now.

But the staff there are bagus! Haha very funny people. Though i didn't interact with most of them, i still have ears (it's not called eavesdropping okayyyy)

You know those days when shit happens and your body is on auto-mode but your brain's whirring at the speed of light?

Today is one of those days.

I'm trying very hard to keep my feelings in place and not let my emotions rule my head. It's been tough so far.

Well, the day's ending and i'm at home, alone. Yet again.
I'm trying not to sound bitter and i'm really Not bitter. Believe me.
Brother's in army (haha botak chua - as what my younger cousins call him), dad &mum's gna send grandma to hospital.

So well, not much happened the past few days.
Went for midnight movie with jiang, varian, brother &michelle. Caught Enchanted and surprisingly, it was pretty good! Funny (i <3 chipmunks! Save them, save the earth HHAHA) and very fairytale-like with happy endings and stuff.
Very creative though.

Today i almost didn't make it for church because by the time i slept last night it was around 3? I've been sleeping at past midnight for the past few days but that's gna change because i'm starting work on tuesday and like school, it's not as if they'd give me a medal for being late lah.

Church was good. Message was good. Lunch was okay.
After sending dom to white sands we went to gwyneth's 1 year old birthday party.
MY GOODNESS.
I like children. Sure, little kids with cute faces and funny actions. Very appealing.
But shove a room full of screaming toddlers aged 3-6 and i tell you, i'd rather eat live snakes, swim across the pacific and fight lions than stay in that room forever! Sheesh! The noise level there can easily beat any pub/bar/club in singapore. Haha i went crazy after five minutes and hurried to the apartment after they cut cake.

And then we all went to my grandmum's place because she's complaining about excruciating pain in the abdomen or smethg. Okay not to the point of 'excruciating pain' i guess, but pain enough.

And that's when my parents sent me home to 'try and sleep early'(Try).

Life isn't fair. Yeah that's what almost everyone says.
But i was just thinking about it and I mean, who are we to say that life is fair, or not?
It's not as if we're judges with a lean mean rulebook in our hand. It's not as if we have the RIGHT to say if life is fair or not.
What i'm trying to say is that Life is complicated. Trying to figure it all out will probably make you retarded - If the brain gets any smaller or simpler, we still wouldn't be able to comprehend it all.
What is life? Making good money? Achieving good results? Getting a rich and beautiful wife or a successful, gorgeous husband?
I tell you, or rather The Higher Up tells us that

1. Having a relationship with Him
2. Growing towards him
3. Doing what He called us to do.

Simple in theory, difficult in the practical area.
But today's message struck me.

We cannot give what we do not have.
But we can give what we Do have.
It may sound nonsensical and totally obvious at first (I hear some people going Duh! In your face man) but think about it. Really think about it (ahhh... lit kids)

Whatever we have isn't insufficient. No, not in God's eyes it isn't.
And if we give what we Do have, we won't return empty handed.

We will be blessed. That, i'm extremely sure of.

This love has taken its toll on me

I just finished watching survivor and for the first time, i feel so damn bloody cheated.
Waited all week to watch survivor(ghost whisperer ended you see) and then the producers had the bloody cheek to screen hot stuff from the past few episodes.
Sure, they even added some behind the scene stuff, but it wasn't dirty enough to make me happy. By dirty, i mean swapping spit and all. Nope, all it did was just to show us how pissed all of them can get drinking cheena wine.

Okay i know i sound bitter but.
Haha okay la really no reason but i'm looking forward to next week's episode!

So i went for medical check up today. X-ray was pretty quick &considering the fact that it's my second time doing it, i have to compare services. It's a human instinct so don't blame me.
And then i went to paragon for medical check up number 2. And then they asked me to pee into a cup.

I mean, yea urine test common right. But i've never done it before HAHA the 'experience' blew my mind. What grossed me out was the the cup they gave me was the same kinda cups they used for drinking water. It was out of the world man.

So i ended my check up early. Apparently i still weigh average so no need to worry about getting fat. YET. haha

Met up with cheryl &ber at cine. Shopped for a lil while and then went to taka's macs to eat. I love spending time with those 2 people! Never fail to make my day, really (:

Well, we shopped around wisma too. Saw nice tops &dresses but either no size, or too ex.
Anyway i got my long jacket thingum frm Esprit, 70$. It was on sale and the original price was i think 129$? Or more? Haha i'm still gna get a nice hoodie though, for plane rides and stuff.
Also got shorts frm this cotton place at Ps - 30$for 2, so i got one and pts got one.
Cheryl got a dress frm forever21. The price was prettaye high but it was unique &it looked great on her
Bernice got a purse from Esprit too &the two of them got cheap earrings at chinatown!

Haha so all in all, very fruitful day. Extremely productive. None of the walking around looking for clothes but not getting any shit. Sweet.
Except for the fact that i spent a bomb. Hahaha

Well now first prority is bag and proper working clothes because i'm all jeans and tshirts and slippers! Gorgeous heels are definitely not fit for work too, no matter how gorgeous they are(:

Lemme change topics for awhile. I was just snooping through my mum's wardrobe the other day and my goodness. You want vintage? Take a look at my mum's stuff. She has this 'borneo' (HAHA U2!) purse thing that's absolutely gorgeous and today she threw me two dresses (that she can't fit into anymore) - velvety short dress thing and this dark blue dress, very plain but pair it with pumps, funky belt and a nice cardigan, you'll feel like you so belong in singapore! I'm like, wow not bad hahaha
So yea. Forget the 'vintage' stuff they sell you outside - all those dresses and polka dotted ancient stuff. Those stuff may Look vintage but go look in your grandma's closet, do sme amendments and hey! You've got a true blue vintage dress/bag/purse and whatever lah.

I realised that ever since this job-hunting thingum, i've been so caught up with finding jobs, getting replacements, msging people, recieving calls and calling people.
It's like i'm so busy suddenly. People are perculiar creatures who can't seem to make up their minds. Bosses and companies all. But i have to accept it. We all have to accept the sad way the world functions. Nevermind that functioning is a wrong word because things are often dysfunctional. Okay now i'm talking nonsense and making no sense.

But why do you care anyway?

My parents are just as busy. No wonder people look forward to getting off work and just sitting down for a breather. Singapore is way too fast-paced. Ever walked along orchard road or the CBD? Everyone's rushing off like some mad train. Everyone look like they've got an appointment they can't be late for. Singapore - Small but efficient no doubt. Very very busy.

Anyway, i understand that my parents are effing stressed up and i'm not.
Reminder : Be independent, geraldine. Over there you gta learn to live by yourself. There'll be no such thing as sitting at home waiting for dinner to fly to you with your dad as the temporary delivery boy.
I know i sound spoilt but honestly. How many of you cook your own meals? Oh and instant/maggie noodles do not count as a proper meal. Haha by meals i mean rice and veg and all. How many of us have maids and mums who do the housework all. You see, i AM spoilt. Spoilt by all this development and high standards of living. Spoilt by the pampering of our parents who went through life differently and want things to be good and smooth for their own children.

Went out with them funny people today! Bus-ed to kovan where i met ding, returned the dvds &walked to pts' house. she did our nails after watching her surgeon show(TOTAL)
It was like old times! Eating and laughing and talking nonsense :D

So we trained down to PS Just for pasta mania! Just had this crazy craving for it - Thanks to bernicepehsweeyee the fat one. Oh &i saw kelvin frm NC'06 working at pasta.
Then we trained dwn to bugis because ding wanted to buy her black skinny jeannnsssss. She finally bought it after trying the jeans frm 3 different shops! Haha funny la she. She also bought a purse thingum frm billabong.
Oh and we felt so so so sorry for ourselves we tried prom dresses. Yeah entirely to make up for the fact that we don't have prom night. Sad right! And we saw wanzi working at bugis village &esther working at bugis
We were all like, Why are we doing this shopping thing? Why are we slacking our butts off while people work non-stop!
Hahaaha but yea we walked around some more with feet that hurt like hell. We were practically zombies.

And then for old times sake, we took neos.
The first one was pretty much screwed but it got like, laughs out of all of us. The 2nd time was much better though.
Oh man i miss those days where we would get high in the neoprint machine and just sit there and chitchat and scream and all. It's sad though. Because we aren't sec2s anymore - not 14 year olds anymore.

I just realised that half of November's already passed. It's the 19th btw and it feels like eternity since the start of the year!

2007 has definitely been memorable but no, i'm not gna start on some long-winded sentimental post. No, not today. I'll save it for new year(:

But seriously, it just passed so quickly. Like, where did all the days go to man? The weeks, and months?

Not too long ago i was still heading the board and mugging like mad and being obsessed with GB. And now? I'm a hell of a slacker who sits at home all day and do nothing.
*Nothing = watching the whole LOTR trilogy consecutively( Really, i just did it. 12 hours++ in front of the tv. Sheesh.)

I look at myself and go, 'you're sixteen. SIXTEEN. why don't you FEEL sixteen-ish?'
I think all of us have/are still feeling or felt this way before. Like, when we were primary school kiddos we'd all look up at the sec 4s and think that they're all old and stuff. But now that i've officially finished the 10 years of basic education - ten years of pure fun and of course at times torture, it feels that the last 10 years were nothing; Nothing compared to what's coming up in life.

Each of us have different paths. Each of us will go different ways.
I stepped into school last week and all i felt was nostalgia. It was bittersweet. I'd never get the chance to hang out in the canteen everyday anymore. I'd never get the chance to play the very out of tune piano in the canteen anymore. There's so many things i'd never get the chance to do again! And that sucks. Okay, not alot but just a little.

I know i know i said i wouldn't go all soppy and sentimental. It's just.. how it happens haha how it goes.

I know the people in my school couldn't wait to get the hell out of yuying. But i look at them and i just can't help but wonder what they've been doing in school for the past 4 years+? I mean it's practically our second home, and the title doesn't do the real thing justice.

I guess i am pretty afraid of what's to come. When you're in school it feels like your duty is just to study. I mean, how hard can it get right? For now, the future looms scarily ahead. Sounds drama mama i know, but the feeling of not knowing what you'll, i'll, expect scares me. I don't know what lies ahead, whether i'll make it in life or i'll just end up failing.
After all, life has this uncanny way of turning it's back on you just when you expect it to do otherwise. It happens too often too.


So pts cancelled plans tmr cause she has something on! Seems like i'll be All Alone again tmr HAHA self-pity, self-pity.

My legs feel like total jello. My stomach's grumbling and asking for food. Just realised that i didn't eat dinner.

I was practically on my feet the whole day. Went to church and it was alright(:
After service we had lunch at church. For once we didn't go for Tauhuay! Haha
So like, after lunch, deborah suddenly said she wanted to eat desert. I was like, how about tauhuay(LOL). I mean, after all, that's like our favourite hang out. BUT because of the fact that we are now free people, no longer prisoners of the educations system (for a while, at least), we decided to go somewhere further away.

HAHA yea the arcade! My goodness how long have i not stepped into such a place anyway? What with all the noise and the small primary kids and all. Lol but it was fun la. We were like basking in the glory of his spastic(!) fingers la, especially charis!

In the end we went to macs for desert. I know, like all the way to PS and then we had macs?
Haha well whatever. I drank this double chocolate thing from mac cafe. It wasn't all that bad, but i still prefer coffee bean (:

Went to church for Pastor KC's graduation ceremony. I was practically falling asleep (i TOLD you!) but i was smart enough to make use of the toothpicks they gave us for door gifts to keep my eyelids open and if you think that this is true please slap yourself. Yes. Right now.

After like ten years wandering around church i went to bugis with mum &aunty beeling. Bought a dress top thang frm little match girl. Not my kind of thing but my mum bought it for me lah.
I saw this limited edition shoe from Converse. It's red and its VELCRO!!

Okay, most of you don't know it but I HAVE A THING FOR VELCRO SHOES.
Haha i think it's the fact that i DON'T have one and that makes me wna have one! I mean, look at all the nike kid's Velcro shoes. GORGEOUS OR WHAT HUH.
haha so yea the converse velcro shoes. Very nice. Let's just say the price was waaaayyyyy overpriced (ALMOST TWO HUNDRED) i paid lesser for my adicolours lah i think!

Speaking of Overpriced items, the topshop vest that i wanted so very badly costs $116. I mean, its a VEST HELLO! Haha but it's a precious thing. Love the details especially and if i get it (i won't don't worry) i don't have to worry about walking along orchard and seeing some other girl wearing the exact same thing. The odds are 0.9? 0.009? (sorry so bimbotic but i have a thing about originality ask celly)

Enough of the digression. Trained dwn to Airport &had dinner at breeeeekkkkssss which was the only not extremely crowded place and the food was super good! I had this salmon steak thing. Not exactly my first choice but i did it for the whipped potato. My Goodness the whipped potato at breeks is totally superb. Like, REALLY REALLY Good! I know i sound like a pig but for those who grew up eating KFC's whipped potato and actually like it (haha guilty.) breek's whipped potato is like a hundred times better. So yea, people, go try the whipped potato there Haha now i'm advertising for them.

After dinner we went to find the churchies who were going off to Turkey. My parents and I were supposed to go but for personal reasons we backed out ):

I'm still having the flu and all.
Not very nice. Plus its all dark and gloomy no sun for me to start my process on getting darker.

Anyway, i've just realised that before, i was just obsessing about going and stuff. And then when they accepted me, i was overjoyed (of course) but because it was in the middle of the O'lvls, i didnt do much. After three days of happiness and going out and having fun, i woke up this morning and decided to be responsibleeee :D

Haha got out my pen and paper and started doing a list of things i need to buy/bring over.
It's total madness i have no clue whatsoever, but thank God for germsssyyyy wermsy

yea survivor last night was really exciting! i thought james was gna play his hidden immunity idol but then J-R left. Haha good i guess, but in this whole competition, i'm hoping that amanda, todd or frosti will win.
They're the safest, but courtney, leslie, phie-gee and eric will be kicked out sooner or later.

hahaha i didn't notice it before. And like, the quietest people, like eric and leslie? They've managed to stay in after so long. They're playing it safe i think, even though they get disadvantages. But now they really have to start forming alliances.
On the other hand, maybe its not so good to form alliances. Eric's just going along with first jamie, then phie-gee but leslie sees who has the upper hand first.
They have got to make decisions and start doing something or they'll be kicked out by james and the gang.

Haha oh well. if not for that lousy jamie (!!!!) aaron will be there and he'll definitely win! Yay i like aaronnn

Frosti or amanda - Todd will get outwitted but he can try to stay in the game for as long as possible.

Visit to the hairdresser has been postponed, AGAIN, thanks to a mother who is totally obsessed with working and is never home.
Now you wonder if i can survive in sydney alone? I tell you, i've been alone at home since primary school. hahahaha

My aunt was just saying ytd, that she doesnt allow her kids to take the lift up alone.
I was like, WHAATTT rachel's p3! hahaha
I don't know. Maybe because of my brother, my parents really let go. But of course, they still don't allow me to come home at like, past midnight (haha) and all while my aunt still grabs hold of my hand when we're jaywalking! HAHA

Anyway bbq on the 14th at my place.

Just got home not too long ago from shoppinnggggg
went to citylink, raffles city and marina square! the Best shopping place in Singapore :D

Went with my aunty who woke me up early in the morning.
Met up with cousin and her daughter who turns 6 today!
Ate sakae for lunch and then headed to andersen's for Ice cream and fondueee
It was delicious :D

Anyway, i got a top from OP hahaha
its a typical OP blouse thing, but my aunt said its 'very nice!' and bought it for me

So their all coming over to my house for dinner and for the first time in months i'm having THREE FULL MEALS A DAY

I spent like, half my morning cleaning my room.
It's like, super free from BOOKS and PAPERS and whatever rubbish there is.
Sadly though, it still looks very crowded. haha
Being an extremely sentimental person, i HAD to keep some 'sacred' stuff. HA.

And i know i keep jumping from topic to topic but my aunt's the best!
Heehee she's gna look for a job for me at her office, which is at changi, so quite nearby la.
My brother worked there too after his O'lvls BUT unlike him i shall not spend the salary in what, one week.
Haha the pay's not bad, beats micky D (okay fine many jobs beat that lousy pay)
Pays less than 10, more than 6. So it's not bad already.

I wna go to egypt. And venice.
And of course, back to my favourite place - London.

But i'm just planning for like, 10 years later(:

Okay fine that's a crazy thought but slacking isn't my thing. Pretty ironic, huh. When i'm mugging i'd be better of bumming around.

I'd spend money like nobodies business, but i'm dreaming a poor person's dream. And Rightly so anyway.

Haha if y'all lived and died together with the dinosaurs (HAHAHA WHAT HAPPENED TO FUTURAMA)(okay that was really random), i must say again grey's anatomy is a really good show. Something like ER, Plus the scandals.

Things to do:
1. look for job
2. Watch everything i want to watch
3. Buy topcoat!
4. But the vest from topshop
5. Buy shoes
6. Buy top for dinner
7. Spend every morning tanning :D
8. Buy and get ready for 31st jan!
9. Sleepover at bernice's
10. Try not to forget everything from the past 10 years of education.

and then there's 0.5 which is most probably the hardest - Spend More Time with God.

And MTV's dying. I just watched the same music video (kylie! HAHA) in a matter of minutes.
What is Wrong man! Give me some classic songs.

Plus i just realised that there's an Ecko shop in singapore!
I mean, a proper shop. Like, yea sure they have those tiny shops that sell watches and all, but i've never seen a shop the size of like, erm, the normal boutiques until today. It's at taka actually.
If i'm not outdated, then i must be a bit 'lag la' or sua ku, to put it in a very Singaporean wayyyyyy.
