Shit tired of listening.

I had turkey porridge for dinner. Who in the world has TURKEY porridge for dinner!?!

Anywayzxz I wanna watch Break Out at Esplanade next feb! Anyone? :D

I woke up at 8am today. EIGHT AYE-AM. It was horrible and disgusting and I never want to wake up at such unearthly hours again. Plus, it was raining and therefore, it was cold, and very nice weather to sleep in!

But alas, that didn't happen cause I reached church at 10am sharppppp. And I guess tmr it'll be 10pm Sharp at toa payoh mrt too. So far leh ):

But yeah, we were preparing stuff for Fusion Night and it was actually kinda tiring. Well, let's all hope and pray that it will be a success!
AND ALL OF YOU GO OKAY! GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY! SKIP WHATEVER MARINA BAY COUNTDOWN/SENTOSA COUNTDOWN/ZOUK PARTYETCETC AND GO TO CHURCH FOR WATCHNIGHT SERVICE! :D

And I'm watching Little Nyonya now. I think Singaporean scriptwriters are a bit too over melodramatic. But whatever, they've got nearly the whole Singaporean hooked now, and making a profit! Nevermind the ridiculous script.

But what am I to say about drama. */shrugs.

So yesterday, I achieved a number of things:

1. Met up with the dings. The thing was, we were all supposed to meet up at 1pm at PS, as instructed by BernicePeh. Well, juiwei was early, ding and I were late, and Bernice peh? She didn't even show up. Apparently sleep is more important than us! :D

2. Went back to LSBC. This time WITH Peh hahahahaha!

3. Met ma'ams and GB girls! Nostalgic.

4. Watched Bedtime Stories. Which was disappointing! Not as funny as expected.

5. Ran around with the 3 girls like we were in sec2 and laughed our asses off <3

And well, ROCKBAND is like my new adopted favourite game and past time!

Photobucket

It's like really quite fun and funny to see how we all panic and die, even at medium levels. Hahaha I absolutely suck at the guitar but drums veh fun! Haha I'm gna spam Rock Band till I go back Australia! :D

Paper Chase

I am back from meeting with the Dings.

It's been long. They make me feel young

Pictures tmr, I'm too tired.

Love,
Me.

PS Do you feel the distance?

I kinda chopped my hair today.

Talk about having the rug pulled underneath you.

Well, I'm having a Ghost Whisperer Season 1 Marathon now. Jennifer Love Hewitt is so pretty :D
I'm also meeting the dings tmr! Including the GB girls. I haven't seen them in a really long while so I'm pretty pumped up about it! I don't know what's there to do though. Town's ALREADY boring. HAH.

And I should be doing some exercise. I'm turning Fat. FAT. F-A-T.

Okay. This has gotten my depressed now ):
Hahaha ciao.

when i'm missing you

I am sick, missing you, and GOING TO CUT MY HAIR TMR!

Yes, finally.

And yes, cutting hair kinda trumps everything else now.

Anyway, my mom has strict rules about the opening of Christmas Presents. The whole family is supposed to gather around (the christmas tree, which of course, we haven't had in YEARS) and open our presents together. For the last 17 years or so, my brother and I have complained, sometimes sneaking a peek at one or two presents in the secret of our rooms, but nonetheless, have more or less opened our presents on Boxing Day.

But this year! I actually opened my gifts on Christmas Day, at approximately 9pm. I know, it's not exactly worth blogging about but Hey! At least I have Gifts to open!

Anywayzxzx thanks guys for the gifts. I feel the louurrrvveeee Hehe

Merry Christmas

It's 1 hours and 33 minutes into the 25th of December, 2008. Yep, Christmas, as we all know it.

Yet, strangely, I woke up on Christmas Eve to find myself actually forgetting that it was the 24th. The world forgetting, by the world forgot. I wonder why?

Is it because of the overwhelming feeling that a whole year - one filled with immense fun and laughter - has paraded before my eyes in such quick-time I cannot even catch it? Or rather, the lack of a year? Seeing that it DID pass TOO Quickly?

Somehow, it isn't just me not feeling the Christmas Spirit slowly building up in us, a bubble swelling in our hearts and stomachs. All around, I've been hearing, and reading about, people complaining that they just don't feel 'Christmas-y' this year. Just. Don't.

Is it just that somehow, miraculously, all of us felt that the year flew by so much so we didn't get to experience it much? Or, not so surprisingly, Is it the letdown of the Orchard Street Lights?

Seriously, the decorations were actually kind of lame. Come on, I know you agree with me. No
hugeass Christmas trees randomly placed along the streets. A whole load of Construction Work shoved into the faces of busy shoppers and kiasu Singaporeans. Plus, some of the lights even looked recycled (from previous Christmases).

But maybe all those don't matter after all.

Maybe we've all kinda made Christmas into such a huge fuss; into a time of gift-giving and Christmas trees and lights and Santa Clauses!
But, be reminded that the first Christmas was spent Away in a manger.

And GIFTS! Oh wow! G-I-F-T-S! What we've All REALLY, TRULY been waiting for!
Haha. Ironic, isn't it, how the older you get, the less presents you recieve on christmas 'morn. Shouldn't it be the other way round considering the fact that, as an older, more mature person, you'll actually appreciate the presents more?

BUT (And I put a bigass BUT forward) we've ultimately been given the BESTEST gift of all - Jesus Christ. And maybe that's enough. Maybe that is sufficient. And that gift is surely one that cannot be returned.
You give me a pencil for Christmas, Sure, I'll buy one for you Next Christmas.
You give me a pencil case for Christmas, Sure, I'll buy one for you Next Christmas.
You give me a handphone for Christmas, Sure, I'll buy one for you Next Christmas.
You give me a Car for Christmas, Sure, I'll buy one for you Next Christmas.
But HE gave his life for us, and in return? In return, we threw back lies and deceit and anger and shame and guilt and disobedience. The Son Of God gave His life For Us. We gave Him back Sin.

Isn't that the greatest irony of all? Finding someone who loves you so much without rhyme or reason?

The Christmas Party at my house this year wasn't all that special, nor fun, for that matter.

But the point is my Aunt - my mum's eldest sister, who has 3 grown up kids and 3 grandchildren. She recently lost her husband to cancer.
Imagine that. The first Christmas without her husband. (Since they've been together, of course) All my LIFE, my Uncle has been to all the Christmas parties, or so I remember. All my LIFE, he's been around.
But now he isn't. And it makes me wonder how empty my aunt is. Makes me regret not talking to her more.

I know, I am an emotional rut.
Maybe it's the ultra sweet desert wine my brother bought.
I'm tired.
I will definitely fall asleep once I touch the bedsheets.

But yes, a festive cheer to all. Merry Christmas! Jesus Loves You.

Sit tight I'm gonna need you to keep time come on Just Snap Snap Snap your fingers for me

I...

1) Went out to meet Cheryl, Bernice, Terence, Damien, Adam and Maureen! :D :D :D

2) Have a Friend called LING HSIH JIANG that chose to NOT hang out with us!!!!!! D: D: D:

3) Watched IP MAN today!

Photobucket

I know, it sounds kinda cheena piang and an Ah-Tiong (Chinaman) kinda show but I assure you, it's really not as bad as it looks!
We were kinda reluctant at first but due to the limited number of movies (Only because we've all watched different movies, there's not much choice left) we kinda just went ahead with it.
Plus, it's based on a true story, and is totally action-packed! The fighting scenes were really good and the breaking of bones was actually kinda funny. Oh, and Cheryl kinda added to the atmosphere with her 'Ouch!' and 'Argh!' every time someone got bashed up :D

4) Perspired so much today, You could practically drown in it

5) GOT MY USFP FINAL RESULTS BACKKKKK!!!! I Am Not Going To Boast But By GOD'S GRACE, I actually did pretty well!

6) Recieved a letter from Women's College saying that I'm on the waiting list while all the Usyd Offers are given out before any other decisions are made! HAPPY LOR :D

7) Have not much points left

8) Still haven't eaten my Taiwanese (?) Chicken yet!

9) Want to chop off my thick, heavy, pretty long (by my standards) hair.

10) Have a Picture Vomit for you!

Which is worrying.

But there's really nothing I can do about it.
So, I'm gna head out and meet the usuals and catch a movie at student price - $6.50.

Fall For You

The posts before your cardio-thing? Meant a lot. Yes, to me. And I would spend the last 24 hours (or in that case, less) with you, because you're a buddieZxzXzxz and mates stick up for each other, hey?

We're cool. Seven are As You.

Because you mean a lot, but not in that way

So you see, ever since I've been back in this humid, hot, did I mention humid? country, with its dirty, polluted air, and kiasu people with really, no manners, I've not been doing much. Yes, I dowash my face like every 20 seconds now and I think I would take ten baths a day if I wasn't environmentally friendly (But I am.) Heck, I'd stay in the shower all day if I could!

So the other day, we caught Yes, Man! at the Cathay. It was, as expected, hilarious and worth the 6bucks. Yepppp! Student Price rocks ma socks.
After, we trooped down to Full Gospel Assembly and caught their annual musical. It wasn't bad but I must say it lacked...something. Maybe it just wasn't as entertaining as the year before? But it was alright. It was pretty well done.

And then yesterday! Carolling! Something I have not done in like, a decade or something. Went to five houses and I kinda jumped on board and joined them when they came to Uncle Dennis' house, where I was. Made new friends, and caught up with old ones :D
Church today was also cool. And apparently, Anson and Rohit are in Singaporeeeee! However, they didn't contact me, and I didn't contact them.

Ohkay. Gna carry on doing nothing now. Ciao.

Friday, December 19, 2008

Yes, Man!

I have no idea why but my biological clock is pretty much tuned to me sleeping late and waking up far tooooo early!

Anywayzxzxz, we're all trooping down to Harvn's church to watch this musical thing somewhere around town. Oh oh terence is dancing apparently, must whip out our cameras and click away. Haha

So the rest kinda went to play badminton at a court Deirdre booked cause steph is going back tmr. I would have gone but the distance from BEDOK TO HOUGANG is super far! No. Straight. Bus :D
Which, of course, means, another lazy morning spent at home, doing practically nothing, and eating. Growing fat. No sun = no swimming = no tanning = FAT. Someone please do something about this equation so that there's a LOSE WEIGHT and TANNED option puh-leaseee!

So yeah me and Harvn, who's proud to be Indian..and we're supposed to be jealously jealous (as stated in FB) decided to catch a movie. Yes, Man! was released ytd and seems to be insanely funny. Any show with Jim Carrey would probably be funny because it is after all, Jim. Carrey who is just wickedly retarded.

And then varian who was supposed to be working had his job cancelled and so he is coming aloonngggg! HAHAW HARVN NO MORE COUPLE SEATS!

I Miss You

Photobucket

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles In our eyes are mirror images and when We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself Did make us into corresponding shapes like Puzzle pieces from the clay
True, it may seem like a stretch, but Its thoughts like this that catch my troubled Head when you're away when I am missing you to death

Postal Service

Ogay. Just got back not too long ago and I'm falling sick!

Anyways, yesterday, I met up with Harvn and Kenneth for Dinner. Jasmine joined us!
It's True - There is no more Fatimah's. How horrible! It's now Some ABC thingum but whatever, as long as they keep serving prata, Imma happy person! :D

So after dinner we all trooped down to school, meeting Bernice and Neo on the way(:
We were just in time for the campfire and stepping into school again was pretty nostalgic! I think this feeling would never fade; Every time I step into school would bring back memories,I guess.
Well, It was fun catching up with the rest! Even Rebai, Deirdre and Kenneth Koh were there. Hahaha not to mention, CellyTan who is now bald Hahaha
Caught up with the seniors mostly, and with the teachers. Oh, both Mrs Oh and Mr Tay resigned! Shocking - We now have a new P and VP. Must be hard for the staff, huh.

Photobucket
Stupid Celly, Extra!

The usual :D

2006-2007 Ex-Co

Well, it got kinda boring not long after so we trooped down to Mackers for supper. Then I stayed over at PTS's, which was total high-ness! That girl is another one of them Korean Fans and we even watched some KPop countdown at 3.40am in the morning -.-
Okay la, fine. Some of the guys were really cute! Hee hee

And today, that woman made me do something so unthinkable, I might puke.
WE WATCHED BOLT.

YES, BOLT

THIS!

Photobucket

What's there to say?
It was LAMEASS. Sure, it was funny at some parts and at least it wasn't about a dog who really had super powers. BUT STILL. I don't think it was absolutely worth a visit to the cinemas.

Well, AT LEAST I got to pay my tickets at Student Price: 6.50$
Imagine watching this in Sydney...I'll probably complain a whole lot after that!

Anywayzxzxz Results are out today! However, it'll be sometime before I actually get it. I think I should freak out. I really should!
