Alright. i pretty much just woke up like an hour ago - and it's freaking 5.30PM now. slept at 9am you see. long story long story.
Nothing eggciting - just made me miss home even more ):
HAHA so anyway for the past 2 days we've been sleeping at really crazy times. Went to Fishers ytd AND YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHO I SAW.
I was walking happily, minding my own business when suddenly out of nowhere i heard a 'GERALDINE!'. Totally froze for a minute. You must realise it was extremely crowded with all the uni students and i was just a little intimidated =/ haha anyway, my really fast, high-processing brain recognised that voice....and i saw THE face.
HAHAHAHAHA crazy boss! Genevieve is still as mad and hyper as ever! See me only call me Jiao bin! Like hello two familiar people in a foreign land?! Shouldn't it be more happening than THAT?! HAHAHA madness. anyway, she was with another JB (as she calls us singaporeans. what a disgrace tsk tsk hahah) and i was with cherie. so yea. how cool huh.
Finally, like absolutely FINALLY i saw a familiar yuying face! So happy after that hee hee :D
So anyway, we came back and bummed around some. After dinner - two movies. it's the norm now. nothing different. Pretty boring actually, this routine. Watched Whisper - another demonic movie and me and cherie holed ourselves up in the tv room and watched The Italian! Total chic flick, if you may call it, but it was really not all that bad. The boy was so cute and his acting was so natural.
After that we bummed somemore. Watched the guys play winning 11 - SEE VARIAN. NOT BAD RIGHT. I'M GETTING BACK INTO THE SOCCER SCENE. AND of course we watched the chelsea and liverpool match.
1. All the liverpool fans i know - which is alot - are probably still banging their heads on the wall on that LAST goal. it was crazy. Riise made a really bad choice. i mean, if he didn't move, they'd probably have won. tsk tsk. Oh remind me to laugh at all the kenneths and my dad forhis! it's INSANE.
2. Chelsea fans - HAHAHAH you guys got lucky. but the luck won't last when it's manutd vs you! So what if it's at stamford bridge? We'll kick your ass anyway (: (: (:
Yeah.
AND i have tonnes of homework/assignments left. It's crazy really. i don't have the mood to do it. And my internet will be up on mon/tues so yeah. can't wait so i can totally just hang around online all day(:
Oh. Anson's roommate's coming on friday. he's apparently half singaporean/canadian. i can already imagine the 'CUTE OR NOT' exclaimations from people like bernice and cheryl(:
HAHA all i can say is - don't get your hopes too high dudes. I gave up hope on absolutely cute guys here.

There's a thin line between originality and a wannabe
Aloha people (omgosh. think it's the anson influence hahaha)
It's a friday - well, erm, afternoon, and i pretty much just woke up. haha sheesh.
Well i'm catching up on sleep alright. haven't been sleeping well ever since i came here.
So Gold Coast was wicked! It was totally awesome dudes!
The weather was better than sydney, the people much friendlier, the beaches better, the waves more wicked, the shopping was infinitely much MUCH cheaper.
Haha you get my point. But yeah, three days at gold coast, and i compare it to sydney, and there's like this drastic contrast. Sydney's all busy and hectic now, which is weird, cause look where it leaves Singapore at.
Tues 15/4
We woke up super duper early to find that our college is one hell of a cheapo! Haha they actually dim the toilet lights and completely cut off the power to our room lights BUT leave the corridor lights on. Anyway, we cabbed down to the airport and waited for ria. Checked in and we were on the plane to Gold Coast! :D :D :D
Cabbed to our service apartment which is at surfers paradise which is also just by the beach (rad or what huh!) and we left our stuff behind before we went to reckie for a good breakfast place. Haha had pancakes which weren't too bad though i was expecting better, and then ben went back to sleep. So typical right! Well it doesn't matter because the 3 galzxzxzzxz went shopppiinnngggg! hahaha i finally got my beach towel and a top. So after that we walked back with armloads of stuff (the 2 of them bought so freakin much more though. Ouch. sucks to be poor/the poorest huh) and then HELLO BEACH! Hahaha sadly, the sun was not shining at its best and it was hell windy. which means that we had sand EVERYWHERE. in our face, eyes, camera, body etc etc. Gave up and went back to leave our stuff before going back to hunt for a drink store. settled at macs (really, where else?(: ) and basically just watched the world go by. Sat by the beach for somemore (cause the sun chose to come out then la. annoying ahaha) and then we went back to find ben awake!
He was OBVIOUSLY hungry yea so we bathed and went for dinner at this little italian cafe. The food was pretty alright and we then shopped somemore.(i keep using this word, i realised) Like i said, i didn't get as much stuff as they did alright. But after that we went back, played cards and just enjoyed the comforts of CABLE and the likes :D
Weds 16/4
Woke up at around 9 and we had breakfast at 'home' hahha. Well, when i get back to Sg, i'll just eat cornflakes and milk all day long! Gosh i totally miss HL milk can. the milk here is all diluted and weird. Hahaha found our way to Dream world! spent the whole day there basically, on rides and stuff. Had phototaking session with spongebob and patrick though(: BERNICE PEH ARE YOU JEALOUS HUH HUH HUH! hahaha had dinner at nando's back at surfer's paradise and then i went to get my cult slippers and then we saw street market! hahaha walked for a really long time and got my band which i've wanted since forever. And THEN we went to get icecream which was really pretty awesome before walking back. and then more cable and then sleep.
Thurs 17/4
Woke up LATE! our check out time was like at 10 but ria and ben only woke up at what, 1030? The owners were chasing our hide. Not a good feeling. So anyway, we went tanning by the beach which was, erm, useless again although the sun was pretty good. I didn't get any tanner which sucks because i feel as white as snow now ):
Haha okay enough of the theaterics. Had lunch at hungry jacks and then we bused down to pacific fair for more shopping of course. Well me and cherie shopppedd and i ONLY (as compared to her) got a top frm valley girl and a pair of shorts frm between the flags. Yeah well we shopped till about fivish and then we had dinner at the food court just upstairs. had chicken laksa! Hahaha it tastes good but the chicken sucked. Really, what's up with just having a good bowl of spicy laksa with good non-fatty chicken anyway! Hahaha cabbed to the airport and then we bummed around for about an hour doing nothing basically. Hmm boarded the plane and beside me and cheriewas this guy(didn't catch his name though). He's frm the US of A and he just finished his third year finals so he was going to sydney to meet his parents before detouring to some other places like adelaide and brisbane and cairns before going home! How awesome is that! hahaha well anyway, he was pretty nervous cause it was his first time taking a domestic flight and to make matters 'worse' it was raining and it was cloudy and there were a lot of turbulence. hahaha it was nice to see a sensitive new age guy for once! HAHAHAHAHA but yea he was cool. So we arrived at sydney and cabbed back to taylors and we unpacked and talked to anson and i chatted online some and then sleeeeeeeppppp.
Yeah. thats pretty much it. Oh i got an airbrushed tattoo too. SOOOO want a tattoo but i won't get it cause i'm guai alright. See! people who thought i'd come here and just party all day long, i'm proving you wrong! I'm staying AWAY from drinks and partying and dying my hair and getting tattoos and body piercings. I'm amazing, aren't i? HAHAHAHA okay enough boasting, you guys may not be able to take it.
And like i said, i hate being ripped off. Like, what's the point of liking what i like and wearing what i wear and saying what i say? It just gets on my nerves when people do that and they aren't even bloody embarrassed about it at all.
Oh and i almost got a I <3 NY shirt! hahaha have been talking about getting it ever since my uncle was saying he wanted to work in the big apple but then i realised that it'll just defeat the purpose if i got it in Gold Coast instead. Hahahaha ridiculous yea? I <3 NY. Where'd i get it from? Gold coast.
Alright alright. Down to more serious businessssss - STUDYING. Sheesh. totally hate school.

I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
WHAZZZUPPP PEE-POLL
It's been one hell of a week. Just another one that flew by without me really knowing what the heck i was doing.
Okay hold on. I take that back.
HOLIDAYZZZZZ just started officially. ended school one hour ago and i've been hooked on 02Jam! Haha it's so addictive can.
Yeah and i realised that another 3 more days and i'll be off to Gold Coast! Hee hee all of you are jealous aren't you HUH HUH HUH. Well anyway i'll be there for just 3 days and 2 nights but that should be enough. The downside is (seems like there's always a downside hey?) that i have tonnes and tonnes of assignments.
The teachers here are absolutely crazy. I have:
1. Australian Studies IRP to complete
2. Australian studies essay to write in preperation for a test right after we come back.
3. Economics essay to write in preperation for a test right after we come back.
4. Media Essay
5. to complete Social Science study guide
6. English worksheets to do
7. Australian studies worksheets to finish
9. English presentation to prepare! (on a super boring article too! I want rohit's - MY IPOD ATE MY BRAIN article!)
TOTAL MADNESS. They're out for blood i tell you. Those people have no human compassion. What ever happened to good ol' holidays where people run wild and get drunk and high? (not that i'm drinking and getting high - except maybe on laughing gas HAHAHAH *winks*)
So for the last 2 days we've been watching the Godfather part 3 in English class. Have i said how much i like Mario Torelli, my english teacher? He's probably one of the nicest teachers around. He's hip and cool yaarr and very into mafias and gore and 300 and roman empires and stuff like that! Haha his handphone ringtone is - "you kicked my dog." (if you've heard it before you'll know) Wicked, don't you reckon?
So apart from me being addicted to 02 jam (not just me, everyone else too. People congregate in our room for 02 jam sessions these days. The movie-every-night days are long gone.) and the usual anime/dota/house addictions, there's nothing much going on.
Pao yao (frm my fss class) invited me for a bbq this sunday at victoria park. Haha he's actually from taiwan but he studied primary school in singapore. And during FSS today, him, tomoka and me were talking about languages. Haha now that i've seen how cool languages are, i wna do ITALIAN in uni! (haha it's mario i reckon) I don't know it's just so interesting hey?
What else what else. Will be meeting priscilla (frm the US of A - connecticut i think, who's studying at hillsong college) for lunch or something after we get back from gold coast. Looking forward to it(:
Eh i just realised my life is super boring. Oh yea i'm reading persuasion now! Haven't read it before and at first it was so very boring, but after that it just got really good! Jane Austen can write up a storm i reckon, and i may consider watching The Jane Austen Book Club (it's coming out anytime now) because the book was pretty wicked.
And House reminds me of Grey's Anatomy and i totally miss GREY'S ANATOMY ):
Tuvshin and i were arguing if grey's anatomy or one tree hill was better. WELL DUH GREY'S ANATOMY. though scandalous (and it really is) its just so witty. And of course, we've been watching whose line is it anyway too. CLASSICS people, Classics.
Well most of you are starting school soon so that's cool :D
Hahaa sorry i may sound extremely morbid but it's so depressing to see all of you having the time of your lives Slacking Your Butts Off while i lead my pathetic life. Eeyer i sound so bitter and twisted haha but i like it when you're bitter and twisted like christina no?
AHH stop it this is crazy i want my grey's anatomy!
Okay enough ranting. I want to blog as often as i can but i can't. So that's that. Deal with it people.

Happy April Fools!
Today is April Fools Day. Yea well we couldn't just let the day slip by without doing ANYTHING, could we?
So last night, a whole bunch of us - rohit, tuvshin, me, cherie, anson, cyndy, Rakhman and ria decided to go ahead with our long-planned prank. On Ben.
I mean, really. Who else yea?
So we took this really gay picture of him with cherie's heart-shaped sunnies, posing like a model, blew it up and photoshopped it. HAHA we also added words - "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?" And "YOU CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF ME"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA we actually took it after Madisgras (which is the gay parade.) and yea, early in the morning, cherie and i (we printed 20 copies last night) pasted JUST ONE on the side door of the common room. WE WERE KIND ENOUGH OKAY. WE TOTALLY WANTED TO PASTE HIS PICTURES IN ALL THE GIRLS TOILETS. AND IN THE LIFT!
Yea and we slipped a few under the doors of a few people around - nima, ted, pheara, phae etc.
It was cool. We still have like at least 5 copies left (for future use. And blackmail of course hahaha)
Anyway, just came back not too long ago from connect group! It's our first time so what we did was chill. And watch Amazing Grace(which is not too bad really.)
Well, so far in the connect group there is
1. Nick - CG leader basically. He's 24, from melbourne. Parents migrated frm malaysia actually.
2. Priscilla - co-CG leader. REALLY nice and sweet. From connecticut, but is actually brazillian.
3. Kappa - from the US of A too. First time meeting her. She adores B&Js too! And chocolates :D
4. Ashley - hmm. don't really know her actually. but she's australian.
5. Christopher - NORWAY DUDE. Haha norweighian or whatever. Really cool.
6. Goseph - Pronounced as Joe-seph. From Brazil.
And of course, cherie and moi.
And then there was 8 (:
Yea the rest are like, all from Hillsongs College so they pretty much know each other.
YEA WELL. it's been a loooonnngggg day. I'm off to start my english essay. Just turned in my media essay and there's no problemo basically.
Did we create a modern myth? Did we imagine half of it? Save yourself, the secret's out.
