okay, my fingers are itching to type out today's events
it was a really long day la basically. met kalvinder at eunos mrt @ around 9.30
trained down to somerset &on the train really crazy things were happening
pts woke up late, and so did leong. TYPICAL.
there was this guy, short, maybe 160cm who was staring at me like some shithead
&because there was nothing to do, &it was so damn early, me and kal decided to walk around
walked to cine, and like, this guy in blue, really tall, very retarded, came up to us;

Guy: "Hello, i'm ____" */offers me a limp handshake
Kalvinder: */looks at the guy, looks at me, looks at the ground - does this REPEATEDLY
Me: "err.." */tries to walk away
Guy: repeats - "hello, i'm _____" (we think its michael. we forgot!)
Kalvinder: */DOES THE SAME BLOODY THING AGAIN. looks at the guy, looks at me, looks at the ground
Me: "it's okay it's okay" (thinks in my head: KALVINDER WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING SOMETHING)

&after we escaped into cine, we both burst out laughing
&kalvinder was like, " WHY YOUR REACTION SO GAY?!"
walao you didnt even rescue me!

it was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S
my goodness, when we walked out we took great pains to walk one biigggg round just to avoid him
okay, next funny person we met was while we were walking from cine to taka, yea that stretch
so it was like, barely 10am in the morning, &this joker was happily carrying out a survey.
felt so bad because he looked like, well, a joke (LOL) so decided to do his survey la
it's about how aware the public is about the environment and that kinda shit
he was damn funny la. he spoke in like, really proper english. like, seriously, sounded almost like a brit
&the last part he asked us how old we were;

Him: "how old are you guys?"
Kalvinder&me: "16!"
Him: */writes 1.., looks up at us "err. this survey should be conducted for people aged 17-35. so i put 17 okay?"
Me: "err. okay" (thinks to myself: why didnt you just ask for our age in the first place?!)

so we carried on walking to wisma - food republic
she wanted chicken rice, so went to the chicken rice stall
funny guy number 3 ;

Chicken rice guy:" HELLO! what do you want to eat?" (in chinese)
Me: "err, just looking" (in chinese)
Guy: (spots kalvinder, thus switches to english with a very very very bad slang) " you wanna eat chicken rice?"
Kalvinder: "wait."
Guy: (starts blabbering in chinese, AGAIN, to me) " you want chicken rice, chicken porridge, curry chicken noodles... etc etc " - goes on &on &on &on &on &on &on
Me: */turns my back on him
Kalvinder: HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Guy: */walks away

and in the end she ordered chicken rice. it was a really funny situation
&after that the chicken rice guy kept acting cool
lol leong came (finally! that ass) and ordered kaya toast and half-boiled eggs and tea
watched him eat, walked down to lido
saw nurul, asked her to join us &bernice and theng hui came!
took the bus to RELC &went up to the 2nd level auditorium;

Us: */walks in, thinking we were late
Auditorium: TOTAL SILENCE
Pts: "aye! go check. maybe downstairs got people"
Lecturer: "excuse me, are you here for the poetry seminar"
Us: "Yes!"
Lecturer: "i said, EXCUSE ME, ARE YOU HERE FOR THE POETRY SEMINAR?!"
us: "YESSSS!!!!!"
Charmaine & helmi (who were downstairs) " yea they are with us!"

so we all went down to level one after instructions were given

Guard: "there's only ten of you! HAHAHAHA"
Us: "only ten? huh?"
Guard: "yes only ten! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAHA " (seems VERY amused)
Us: */walks away while pretending to be amusd

yes, there really was only ten of us
&the lecturer is a hell of a joker! very funny, but it was quite long
after the seminar, me, kal &pts joined deirdre, steph &angeline at ps
watched shrek 3! it wasnt THAT bad la. some parts were even funny!
woof met us, had dinner at sakurraaaa :D
&kal was looking for a SKIMPY, HOT, WHITE, LONG-SLEEVED SHIRT
hahaha walked to cine where we watched the streetfest thing
watched this band perform (lousy! like, seriously)
&then steph's band performed - Exxit
yep, it wasnt that bad though they had a new vocalist & were playing with this bassist for the very first time, so of course there were screw ups!
they played rock, &alot of screaming was involved
8 screaming songs is quite unbearable, both to the ears & butt
oh, kenneth was there too. but i didnt see him!

trained to potong, met daddy
had supper &now im home :D

i wna catch Zodiac (nc16) it's supposedly cool
it's gna be a busy rest-of-the-week
lit tmr, practical on thurs, 1-day-prefect-trg on friday, and farewell bbq on sat
