it's the hardest thing i've ever had to do

i'm feeling very clean &very full now, and that's good, no?
spent 10 years in the bathroom trying to get rid of the icky flour thingys from my hair
but i must say that it's not new, &that it's worth it

woke up really really early today &reached school at 7.30
it was hell early! &no one was there yet la
but the new ex-co arrived &we filled up the waterbomb bags
OH. eunice &gracehan were damn shameless &crashed GB trg camp!
for the first half of the day, i was feeling very lousy
workshops &nagging &people 'accusing' you makes one like that. it's inevitable
but yea, all of us just wanted to strangle a certain someone
lunch with the usuals (minus varian) at KFC. and as we were walking back to school varian called and asked us to get some stuff
so we did. &detoured to macdonalds (leong has a very very very bad bladder problem) &talked to azizi
And i saw melvin! yes THAT melvin my p5/6 classmate
i was like, he looks familiar hahaha
reached school &had mini meeting &after that GAMES started
that definitely cheered me up. it made my day really! :D
since i was a fac for group 5, &cheryl the fac for group 4, we were competing at all the four stations but hey! going crazy with bestfriend is totally fun!(:
first station &we ALL GOT WET. it was something like capture the flag, so waterbombs were a MUST
had to protect our flag so at the last last part i was out of my mind and hugged the 'flag' &GUESS WHAT VARIAN DID. he poured the whole darn pail of soapy water on me!
well, of course, cheryl kena too
&i forgot to mention, we are so in love with the gatsby ad's song, we(the sec 4 ex-co) kept dancing &singing to it

HILARIOUS. especially the way leong does it!
anyway station 2 was the mentos + fruit loops game (familiar? sounds like the games we planned ten years ago.lol) as usual, the sec3s were out to sabo the sec4s, so yea, my hair turned white, my face was soooo pale, and my shirt totally changed colour! - black to white.
station 3 was jon's station. the water game &though we lost, but the way my team worked was amazing!
even the sec1s, ESPECIALLY the sec 1s! was very happy
though at last station(the line-catching-whatever-it's-called) they were blur.
but this sec 1 guy from cheryl's group came over, &we were running like hell
WHERE'S DARYL WHEN WE NEED HIM! this is his forte!
yep. after the games ended, we went to the basketball court, where the leaders were doing chicken dance while the ex-cos sat around and watched, and said that they weren't loud enough! (TYPICAL)
yea and then came the best& worst part
we were pulled to the centre of the human circle, and GUESS WHAT. they ALL started bombing us! so of course we ran away like the crazy people we were but woah, i had no idea how much people hated me! HAHA must be because i boss them around &scold them &laugh at them &do crazy things in front of them
but i was running one moment, and the next like, 2454839810 people were CHARGING up to me with a waterbomb in their hand
scary as hell! i got hit EVERYWHERE &like, 3729432 people threw it on my back at approximately 0.5 cm away, which means that THAT HURT LIKE HELL
LOL but yea, i was bombed out and WET, but then STEPH ONG(grrr) came and dunked this whole pail of water from behind!
i was s stunned all i could do was SCREAM & SCREAM & SCREAM
and the worst thing was i couldnt defend myself! i didnt have water or waterbombs, so i was pretty helpless
me &the rest of the sec4s
lol at that moment ter was beside me, and i screaming bloody murder!
drenched already and i was like TERENCE ISN'T WET! but NOOOOOO, my leaders of all ages, sizes and shapes and colours came and carried on bombing me
i was surrounded. seriously. lol

when they ran out of waterbomb bags and like the whole court was wet, i found the rest of the sec4s (FINALLY) and then kennethleongyufei started acting dumb, like VERY STUPID
he was holding of to the water gun &started shouting, " HEY! ALL OF YOU BACK OFF! DON'T TOUCH MY SEC4s!!!"
haha that scared them off for a bit, but you must realise that ALL of them (70 odd) were SURROUNDING us
by then we were drowning la! so we started to become silly &started dancing the GATSBY DANCE(made famous by US TRULY)
&we decided that hey, it's not fair that we were deprived of the pleasure of bombing others, so we kicked off our soaking shoes and started looking for pails
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: 10
FAIL. we didnt even manage to TOUCH a pail &there were no bomb bags no more
instead, we got splashed REPEATEDLY by everyone else
lol but it was fuuunn! haven't done this for really long &we were like, high on water and pure silliness
started cheering &dancing somemore &doing the things prefects of yyss prefectorial board do
took pictures with the p &mdm amrit and they left leaving sec4s at the court
(They cleared up, don't worry HEH)
so we sat around, playing with the water gun, cam-whoring, basically doing the things WE DO BEST(:
i love my people sooo much!
we were running about, all wet and dirty and smelly, dancing+singing the gatsby shit & playing with the teeny weeny watergun
&it started drizzling
so we brought our stuff in & ran out into the rain & played
it was GAY. gay but GREAT. played the spiderman/superman/x-men/batman game THAT I MUST SAY CHERYL LOVES.
it was downright fun
these people whom i've known for 4 years(minus leong &deirdre) but yea, them i love<3
finally decided to go and wash up but before that we were cam-whoring AGAIN
after debrief walked to tangering with them &i came home

well, today was actually kinda like a handover thing
us handing over to them, &them stepping up
yea and then on the way home i was thinking, have i done well?
Have i done my part?
thinking back, it seems like maybe, just maybe my premonitions at the start were true
i just can't be the head prefect. i just can't lead.
but of course, with the help of the lovely ex-co, which at times get on my nerves but mostly make me laugh like hell &get me high all the time(they have a way with me LA), i began to grow in confidence and all
sure, it was tough, nothing's easy, but they made it bearable
so to 2007 prefectorial board ex-co: I love you guys. you people made it so easy and so hard but i STILL love you all the same! put aside the angry moments when i would chase you for things, put aside the moments when i felt like throwing down my tie, putting up the white flag and just, yes, just quitting, &all you get left, is the fun, joy, laughter,craziness, & tears even
these are what i'll remember the most. you guys rock& without you, yes even you leong yufei, you guys made it easy. bitching about with you people are like, THE BEST (though wrong. HAHA)
so since i'm gna step down, i know that i may not have done the best job, i know i probably havent have done as well as jmo, or cedric& gang, or yanling &gang, but i have no regrets. because being the head prefect really opened my eyes like HUGE &WIDE. it changed me and moulded part of me. yea sure, it was horrible at times, i know im not the best role model, not the best planner, nor the best head, but when stuff go well &meetings go crazy, those are the times i'd really cherish.
but terence, dont forget! THE MINUTES. and to my dept heads; THE TESTIMONIALS mr neo wants!
